Pupils also study Spanish
language and Social sciences as set out by the Spanish Education
authorities. A variety of activities both in and outside the classroom are organised to enable effective learning to take place. Pupils will work individually; developing their ability to study independently, at other times they will work in groups, either mixed or according to ability, giving pupils every opportunity to reach their full potential whilst developing the social skills of the individual child. Pupils with special needs learning English or Spanish can have support working with a personal tutor who, working in small groups, will enable students to develop their abilities to the maximum. El Plantío International School follows the successful Numeracy and Literacy strategies pioneered in the UK. These programmes use a variety of techniques to enhance effective learning and have demonstrably raised the standards of English and maths of pupils at Key Stage 1 and 2. |
