Esta etapa educativa abarca seis cursos, desde Year 1 a Year 6 divididos en dos ciclos: Key Stage 1 (Year 1 & Year 2) y Key Stage 2 (Year3, Year 4, Year 5 & Year 6).

 

 

The pupils will end this cycle with a sound understanding of writing and reading in English as well as the basic concepts of numeracy as set out in the National Curriculum for England and Wales.

The methodology used to achieve this is still based on practical activities and covers the following subjects English Literacy, Numeracy, Sciences, History, Geography, Music, Art, Physical Education, Personal, Social and Health Education. The pupils will also take Spanish Language as set out in the Spanish Curriculum.

 

The studies began in the previous Key Stage continue and are complemented with new subjects: Information Technology and Esol (English for speakers of other languages) in the English curriculum  and Environmental Studies and Valenciano in the Spanish curriculum.

The child will be immersed each day in an educational system which uses practical methods and expects the child to apply what he or she has learned in a practical way too.

The pupils may work individually developing techniques of self-tuition or as part of a group to enhance tolerante and respect towards their fellow class-mates.
